Important information for patients
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, parents should take their child to the dentist before their first birthday—usually between 6 months and 1 year of age.
All students in kindergarten, 2nd grade and 6th grade must have dental exam completed by a licensed dentist prior to May 15th of the school year. Students in Pre-K and Head Start are also required to have dental exams and must submit proof within 45 days of enrollment.
