| Our Internal Medicine department provides comprehensive primary care and health maintenance for adults. We provide complete medical and behavioral assesments for geriatric patients, nutritional counseling for patients with diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity, comprehensive HIV care, family planning, STD diagnosis and treatment, and hormone replacement therapy. Our providers are a part of the Diabetes Collaborative, a nationwide study designed to assess various interventions on likelihood for development of diabetes in at risk minority populations. We also offer smoking cessation classes. | |

Several of our providers are members of the Pediatric Practice Research Group, which conducts carefully selected research projects to promote our understanding of medical issues affecting our patients and to develop better interventions. | |

| Our Podiatrists provide evaluation and treatment of problems of the foot and ankle especially those resulting from diabetes and vascular disease.
