Information for Partners
The goal of Operation Frontline is to provide a long-term solution to hunger and poor nutrition by teaching participants how to select, purchase and prepare healthy, low-cost food for their families. Since 1996, Operation Frontline and Near North Health Service Corporation (NNHSC) have provided over 350 cooking and nutrition programs to over 3,000 families in diverse Chicago communities. The impact of Operation Frontline is significant for the low-income families it serves. Program evaluations have shown that class graduates experience positive behavior change related to healthy eating, food safety and household budgeting.
If you are an agency or organization interested in providing innovative and meaningful nutrition education to the people you serve, we invite you to partner with us. In structure and in practice, Operation Frontline is collaborative. NNHSC has a long history of partnering with social service agencies throughout Chicago to offer the Operation Frontline program.
